Great place to sit by the water, sip on a cold drink in the sun and listen to some live music. There's usually a band playing outside on most evenings and afternoons at the weekend.

We're spoilt for choice in this gorgeous city, however one venue never falters in its reputation as Sydneys first choice for a relaxed drink while enjoying one of the worlds most delightful views.

Despite the often hectic crowds around the outdoor bar and indoor cocktail bar, you can't help but relax with the laid back crowd and chilled live music.

As I always do, make Opera Bar your first stop with visitors that have just arrived in town for a truely unforgettable introduction to this beautiful town.

When ever we meet up with out-of-towners or friends from overseas... this is the place to go. With the Bridge on one side and the Opera House on the other, a gentle summer breeze and a glass of bubbles... this is definitely the way to see Sydney! While it can get quite crowded in the summer... and it's not exactly good in the rain... if you're an ambience & view lover like me... you've got to check this out!
