"Pricey for a tiny bar with boring music"
Ok, I don't mind paying $9 for a beer if it has big-name DJs or a really cool live band, but to me this place felt like I was in a backpacker bar paying Ivy drink prices.
The people that were there were very random, some ppl were really badly dressed others were kind of cool.
We ordered a cocktail only to find they were out of 1/2 the ingredients and that was about the time we moved down to another bigger, better, well established venue. In my opinion there is a reason these bars pop up & disappear. Good effort, but fail overall.
I'd give it a miss, and I would say the ppl below that reviewed so OVERLY positive are staff or friends of staff/owners, honestly, its been open 3 weeks & there is no way that many people stumbled on here to give so much praise.

"This is somewhere that has interesting concepts"
A small group of us went to the launch night of NTB and it was a really interesting place. A good mix of lounges and standing areas and overall a nice vibe with friendly clientele.
They are trying to be a bit different by having events such as 'graffiti wars' on two adjacent walls and basing the evolution of the bar (including its name) on customer feedback. I reckon they should just leave the question mark above the door and leave it nameless!
This bar has potential to be a big hit. I'll be back!

"Good for chillin and having a good chat"
Had a great night and really enjoyed the experience.
Great place to hang out and a cold beer and a good chat. Nothing potentious about this bar which I enjoyed.
Oh and dumplings were YUMMY.
Interior quite funky and easy and i'll be back Thurs 11th Feb for battle of the artist

"Good for hanging out and drinking a few beverages"
It's got potential. I'm digging it. Mojitos in happy hour - you can't go wrong! I think they should stick without a name and just leave the "?" above the door. It looks cool. Mysterious...oooohhhhh ;)

"This is somewhere that I'll be spending a lot of time in."
Refreshing change from the usual Oxford St bar scene. It's raw, gritty and it's got it going on. A nice addition to my local area. This is what the new bar scene should be about.

"Simply amazing for beers, dumplings and good times"
NTB is a great new addition to the Sydney small bar scene. Thriving off of customer feedback (with a wall dedicated to laying down your ideas for the bar owners to see), NTB is taking the approach that a bar shouldn't just be a place to turn up, be seen, get drunk and go home.
With a somewhat eclectic approach to the interior design (beer barrels, large old table & chairs, off-cuts of carpet, graffiti'd walls) NTB is making itself a place to feel comfortable and enjoy the surroundings and your fellow drinking partner's company. This is my kinda' place and it's a nice change to the usual 'be seen' style neighbouring bars of Oxford St.
Homemade dumplings, DJs, live music, cocktails, wine tasting, table tennis Tuesdays, live art battles (Secret Wars) and Tiger beer flowing on tap - NTB is giving you every reason not to dislike this place.
