Ivy: Yay Or Nay? 28/04/2008 Esthetically one of Sydney's up-and-coming great venues complete with indoor lawn and shower. This four level, eight bared, soon-to-be-completed venue is definitely one to go for if you want a bit of everything but perhaps not if your on a budget as drinks tend to be on the expensive side.
whilst shorts and t-shirt are a definite no, wear your best Pradas and you wont even have to wait in line (although even wearing your best Manolos may have you waiting in line) and drop a name like Hemmes and you will have earnt yourself an all access pass to the joint.
If you make it past the fashion police the venue itself is great to explore with two operating restaurants, a burger bar and 5 out of the 8 bars serving everything from Moet to Belvedere. Whilst great for the once in a while especially at one of Ivy's great parties such as OneDay it's perhaps not a regular watering hole.
