Great place to go and relax your mind while looking at the working of the artist's mind

One of the best hidden little galleries in Sydney! Outre is an amazing gallery just one street down from Oxford St (if you turn left onto Crown St and walk down the hill slightly).
Outre specialise in modern art - pop art, tikis, tattoo art and many other great images from artists such as Shag, Mark Ryden and Angelique Houtkamp. Everything in the gallery is available to purchase, and they frequently have new exhibitions, where on opening night they often invite the public to meet the artist who is usually available for signings. It is a really exciting way to get interested in art, as many of the artists utilise images infiltrating pop culture at the moment. Along with the art works, there are band posters drawn by various artists, books and other items (like toys and figurines) available to purchase. Considering that all of the art for sale is, or will probably increase in value due to its highly collectible nature, the prices are great, and laybys are available!
