I have been a customer for few years in BW, and during these time I have introduce to quite a few girlfriends because of the great and prompt service Tiaki provides. Not only where the girls at the reception are courteous but they were very helpful with my inquiry. In fact all my girlfriends are so happy with the results they are achieving. I have a girlfriend whom is a Jewellery designer, she had been attending the classes about 6 months and she drop one size down. Another girlfriend of mine felt great improvement with her health as well as her posture. As for myself... did it really help me... I can't thank Tiaki enough my shoulder ache which link to my side headache was gone just by attending the classes within 3 - 4 months. The exercise you get at Tiaki is priceless... especially being in pain for nearly 4 years and seeing a physio for nearly 2 years and not seeing much results until I join Tiaki. What price are you going to put on that! Like anything program we start in our life... it is all about commitment but I assure you that you will surely see results at the end of the day! The studio can only provide us with the class, but as a client we must also make the effort to work!

Don't believe any bad reviews! I've been going to Tiaki for two years and I love it. I love the environment, the trainers and the exercise classes.

The classes are great - the trainers push you to your personal limit without over doing it and I believe I've really increased my strength and fitness as a result. The one on one power plate classes are brilliant - a great opportunity to hone skills, increase balance and push yourself that bit further under personal guidance.

I've always found the staff friendly at Tiaki - in fact I found it hard to believe some of the reviews written on this site. They are welcoming, caring and always ask for feedback on the class.

The Tiaki environment is superb - almost meditational - and that means that even though I spend 45min pushing myself physically, my mind gets some much needed quiet time.

Finally, Tiaki is great value - where else do you get to turn up to as many classes a week as you like, enjoy a beautiful evironment and benefit physically and emotionally for so little!

Sometimes I don't understand people I read the negative review but I looked at the website and I was lucky enough to have a work colleague go to Tiaki and she has been there for years and loves it. I finally decided to take a look and i was so surprised at how good the pilates classes were in the most incredible studio environment. I now have decided to join up and no you do not have to be there for 12 months as I read in the review. So my encouragement is don't believe everything you read just be opened minded and have a look for yourself!

I have been the member of Tiaki Hurstville since March 2008. Since then, I have introduced few of my friends to join Tiaki because I have seen the improvement in myself being healthy and fit. I have a lot of friends who commented that my body has changed tremendously. I have been going to the private class since I joined Tiaki. The teacher also gives the 100% attention to the students. I also like the studio environment where there is no mirror and you are not competing with anyone. I have no hesitation in recommending Tiaki to any of my friends who wants to get fit.

i loved my time with tiaki i had to leave as i have left the state for work i loved the classes i really toned and tightened with the pi;ates it wsa amazing i have been threw a few studios the past 5 years with gyms and pilates studio but this was the first time i can really say i lost weight and toned my body down to a nice tight 8
so too all u b#*>s who are slagging tiaki you must be really fat and lazy cause they have fantastic classes great instructor who are help ful and friendly beautiful place to go too i loved my time there wish they were in melbourn you would rock melbourn tiaki love your work and what you are about

I agree with the first reviewer, and reckon the March09 reviewer is obviously a Tiaki staff member!
Broadway is a great venue with the warehouse feeling and subdued lighting...but totally let down by the counter staff. Very quick to sign you up, very poor to help when you have a problem (thanks for nothing Dean)...very disappointing and very much ruined the vibe for me.
All my friends are getting out of their contracts or waiting for them to expire.

The best Pilates reformer classes in Sydney City in my opinion. I am a member at Hurstville Tiaki but have recently started attending reformer classes in the Broadway Studio. I was a bit shocked to read the negative review posted by another Broadway member for the following reasons:

1. the staff members at Tiaki (Hurstville and Broadway) are absolutely brilliant - the instructors are committed, concerned, encouraging and enthusiastic. I have never experienced a teacher delaying a class to chat.

2. the membership rates are very fair - Tiaki offers 3 month, 6 month and 12 month membership packages. Certainly, if you pay for casual classes in other pilates studios you won't be tied into a contract but you will pay a lot more per class. To get the quality of class offered at Tiaki, you would be paying upwards of $24.00 per casual class.

What I will agree with the other reviewer on is the ambience - I love the Broadway studio with its high ceilings and use of natural light. It is so peaceful and spacious; it reminds me of being in a cathedral. Tiaki offers an exercise sanctuary to people like me who are averse to the bright lights, grinding machines and pounding music that are synonymous with most gyms.

The space is great - idea of it is great, but the customer service is absolutely shocking! They make it sound so good when you first try it out, but once you've joined (12 months), they make everything difficult for you, such as taking time out due to unforeseen circumstances. This has happened to my friends who are members as well!
The evening classes never start on time as the instructors are always socialising (due to the exception of one or two). The whole class is left waiting around for them to finish chatting!
Don't be sucked into joining!!!
