The CarriageWorks is situated in the old Eveleigh Rail Yards and has undergone a superb conversion turning this space into a huge exhibition/perfomance arts space.

The conversion preserved many of the original features which has resulted in this space becoming an incredible raw canvas for inspiration.

As well as housing several companies and a couple of galleries the space has also recently been host to the Ten show 'So you think you can dance'.

I recently saw the Platform 1 Hip Hop Festival here with a showcase of some of the best breakdancers, graffiti artists, beatboxers, mixers, scratchers, B*Boys and B*Girls Sydney has to offer. The CarriageWorks was the perfect environment to showcase such a show.

There's also a licenced bar and bistro for pre and post performance use. Tickets for most shows can be purchased through TicketMaster, although there is a ticket office inside the venue.
