Still fairly fresh to the streets of Darlingurst / Surry Hills, Low 302 is a new bar sitting on Crown Street. A welcome change from the standard 'sydney bar', Low 302 seems to be getting it right. A good selection of beers, a varied wine list and great cocktails (mixed up by ex Victoria Room staff). A fairly big group of us rocked up here on a Friday night and we were pleasantly surprised not to be greeted by some %#$!$ working the door with an attitude. All smiles and 'Welcome to Low 302'. What a change.

Low ceilings and dark furnishings make it great bar to sit back and not be in the spotlight like many Sydney bars. They also serve, what is reportedly meant to be great food, although myself and fellow drinkers are yet to check this out.

DJs, singers and pianists all feature through the week keeping your ears pleasant company.

The bar also features a large outdoor (covered) smoking area.
